Tonight is when we celebrate the incredible artists who labor an entire year to create these works of art, and showcase their hearts and souls within their salons.

Nearly 1,000 designers, editors and retailers from the COUTURE community gathered in the Encore Theater to celebrate the nominees and winners of the COUTURE Design Awards. 2017 marked the first year in the new venue. We filled the stage with a sparkly curtain, and three large projection screens flying above the stage. We created coordinated graphics for each presenter, category and winner. As the crowd settled in their seats, they were entertained with Elvis singing Viva Las Vegas, before the high energy video show open we created officially kicked off the proceedings. Watch it here:

The semi-finalists and winners were announced in each of 14 different categories, and then the audience got to vote live by text for the People’s Choice award winner.

A touching highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Cindy Edelstein Award by Cindy’s daughter, Remy, to designer Stephen Webster. We created a video tribute to showcase the designer’s passionate support of the industry, commitment to ethical sourcing and design practices, and philanthropic endeavors. You can watch it here.
